Support DSHA

INVEST IN THE LIFE OF A YOUNG WOMAN

The DSHA experience would not be possible without the time, talents, and resources of our volunteers and donors. Your generosity is transformative and helps us realize our vision as a school: to be the number one standard of comparison for other schools seeking to effectively educate young women of faith, heart and intellect, who accept the gospel call to live lives that make a difference, ready to actively invest in the world around them. Whether funding a scholarship or volunteering as an auction chair, your support makes a world of difference for the young women attending DSHA.

GIFTS TO DSHA DRIVE AN ATMOSPHERE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT FOR:

  • Growth of the DSHA endowment for the school’s long-term financial health

  • Stock Gifts

Gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds can provide you with tax advantages on capital gains.

Donors, please note: to receive tax benefits, do not sell the securities; you must transfer the securities to a DSHA brokerage account. DSHA will sell the security upon transfer for the immediate benefit of our students.

To transfer a gift of stock or other securities to DSHA, you will need DSHA's tax ID number and broker account information. To receive this information, contact:

  • Matching Gifts

A corporate matching gift may double or triple your initial gift to DSHA. Many companies match charitable contributions made by employees or their spouses (some match retired employees as well). To initiate a matching gift, ask your human resources or community relations office about your company’s matching gift guidelines and process. They may provide you with a form to send to the DSHA Advancement Office for completion or they may have an online program. Please note that a matching gift does not increase your charitable tax deduction but does count toward your total giving for recognition in our annual Honor Roll of Donors.

The DSHA identifying number (FEIN) is 39-0929898.
  • Gifts in Kind

DSHA welcomes donations of goods and services that support the operation of the school. These may include tangible gifts of office equipment and furniture, or needed services such as landscaping and architectural design, painting and repairs, or printing services to name a few. These gifts provide essential budgetary relief.

Please understand that the school may not be able to accept all items. Donations may be declined if the items cannot be used, stored, or readily sold. Providing the value of goods and services is the responsibility of the donor.
