Basketball Program Mission Statement

The DSHA Basketball program is a positive and supportive community that works with its members to help them grow both on and off the court and to develop our student athlete as a whole person. We foster a competitive spirit that the student athletes can carry with them throughout their lives. We cultivate an environment of support for one another that helps each person develop into the leader that they can be.

Team Vision Statement

To be a model basketball program excelling in academics and athletics. We will continue to strive to win Conference, Regional, Sectional, and State Championships, while upholding a high team GPA.

  • Sean Garczynski

    Varsity Head Coach

    Coach Sean Garczynski is entering his 8th season on the DSHA Basketball staff.   He served as freshmen coach for 2 years starting in 2016 and then moved to the varsity assistant position in 2018 for 5 years until 2023 when he was named Head Varsity Basketball Coach.  During his time as an assistant coach the varsity team won five WIAA Regional Championships, one WIAA Sectional Championship and qualified for the 2020 WIAA State Tournament. Coach Garczynski is entering his 18th overall season coaching boys and girls at the high school level, his coaching stops include Marquette High School, Mukwonago, Whitefish Bay, Brookfield Academy and Messmer.  During his coaching tenure Coach Garczynski was the varsity assistant for 2 WIAA state runner up teams including Whitefish Bay in 2006 and Mukwonago in 2012.
