125th Anniversary

Officially  Merriam-Webster says it’s a “quasquicentennial,” but we’re simply calling it our 125th anniversary.  Since 1892 our students have studied, wondered, prayed, played, served, cared, competed and excelled together. In 2016-2017, we celebrated the rich heritage they have created.

Our roots spring from the dedicated women of two religious orders—The Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Sisters of the Divine Savior.  Both came to the U.S. in the nineteenth century to help the hordes of Catholic immigrants settle this land.  Both created outstanding Milwaukee high schools that developed exceptional young women of faith, heart and intellect.
