Annual Musical

Hadestown: Teen Edition auditions will be held Tuesday, May 27, 3-7 p.m.
Callbacks will be Wednesday, May 28.

DSHA students and boys from area high schools are welcome to audition. Prior to auditioning, please complete the following:

• Complete the audition registration.
• Sign up for an audition time slot.
• Familiarize yourself with our theatre policies and important dates.
• Complete a performance resume.
• Learn and memorize this dance for the audition. Here is a tutorial.
• Select one song from the below to perform; those auditioning for the part of Orpheus can choose either of the options for that character.

Hadestown is a sung-through musical (like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat or Les Misérables) so there is no script to familiarize yourself with the show. Instead, we ask potential auditionees to listen to the soundtrack to get a feel for the characters and story.
